Hawick Amateur Swimming Club
Welcome to the website of Hawick Amateur Swimming Club. Hawick ASC is based at the Teviotdale Leisure Centre and provides swimming for young swimmers from Hawick and the surrounding areas. We welcome boys and girls aged 7 years and
onwards, who meet our qualifying standard. Hawick ASC is affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Swimming Association and has gained swiMark accreditation the first club in Scottish Borders to achieve this.
Swimming is one of the most popular sports in the UK. As well as being fun it is a great way to improve your health and fitness and by joining a Club it is also a great way to make new friends.
The Club is run entirely by volunteers and their aim is to help swimmers to reach their full potential – either in competitive swimming or swimming to keep fit. The Coaches will help with stroke development, fitness and techniques in a friendly and sociable environment.
